Ms. Ostrander Case Study In Physical Therapy

There have been no appointments to attend to this reporting period. Ms. Ostrander has had the Kyphoplasty to her thoracic spine. Ms. Ostrander reported increased pain at first, but that is now subsiding. Per Ms. Ostrander Dr. Schell told her to walk and not start a formal physical therapy program. I have spoken with Kira the counselor from The Lighthouse for updates on therapy. I was told that Ms. Ostrander attends 1 to 2 speech therapy sessions per week. They continue to work on memory and organizational issues. S he also is seen weekly for counseling on her anxiety and depression. Ms. Ostrander just realized that it is going to take more time for her to get better. I had a lengthy discussion with her. Ms. Ostrander asked about seeing
