Movie Comparison: Hatchet Vs Wild

Decent Essays
I believe that “Hatchet” does a better job telling the story more than ¨A cry in the Wild.I believe this because, they had more imagination to the book more that the movie. They had a moose in the book, the part where the blond haired man kissed Brian’s mom in the wagon.Brian had a friend named “Terry”.When Brian and Terry went to the park to play a pretend game like they were lost. I did like the film a little because, Brian got chased by a bear and had to fight the bear. What I didn’t like was when he killed the bear in the film. It would have been favorite if they had more imagination to the film. They both had the foreshadowing part when the sparks of the rock and the hatchet. We knew that would have lead us to him making or not making the

At least it does so for me. Final thoughts, I really liked this film. The acting is solid across the board with Kevin Gage standing out. His portrayal of a violent man, who delights in violent deeds is incredibly sincere. Not that anyone one else is the cast was slacking, but Gage stands out in memory where others, such as Shannon Eubanks does not.…

I believe that “A cry in the wild”does a better job than the novel Hatchet. I think this because A cry in the wild explains what happened way better than the novel Hatchet. For an example when the pilot had a heart attack the movie made it look like he was in very bad pain but in the novel Hatchet it didn't even sound like he was hurting. Also the movie uses way more foreshadowing and imagery. Like when Brian throws his hatchet across his shelter it made sparks.…

I thought HATCHET did a better job at foreshadowing because it actually gave you a clue of what was going to happen. In a “Cry in the Wild” I really didn’t understand what was going to happen until it happened. On the other hand,I thought since it was a movie “a Cry in the Wild” had better imagery but just by a little bit because Hatchet had a bunch of descriptive words. All in all, I thought hatchet had a better compound of foreshadowing and imagery than “a Cry in the…

Hatchet vs. A Cry in the Wild I think Hatchet did a way better job of telling the story. In “A Cry in the Wild” they had to skip many things to keep the movie so it's not to long. And in Hatchet, the author lists all the details to give a great image in your mind.…

My Opinion on “A Cry in the Wild” and Hatchet I think that Hatchet did a better job of telling a story, because the movie wasn’t all that organized. Is this true? Well, let me tell you. Hatchet does a better job of telling the story. It has more details and explains everything so the audience can understand what’s happening. In the movie, things just happened and I could barely tell what was happening. The book gave details and facts which help the reader know what’s going on. I feel the novel displays the components most effectively because it explains every little tiny detail that helps the reader catch up and figure out what’s happening in the book.…
