For most people, it can difficult to distinguish between a butterfly and a moth. Both insects have antennas extending from their head, yet butterflies are long and thin, with a club-shaped head at the end; moths have feathery antennas with a saw edge. Furthermore, both have wings yet butterflies tend to be more vibrant where moths commonly have duller shades.
