Of particular interest to me is the flexibility within the law, and how it evolves to the betterment of society. Since then I have undertaken two work experience placements, firstly in year 10 where I spent a week shadowing a solicitor specialising in family mediation, in which a woman was receiving advice regarding her ex-husband recording her daily activities on CCTV. I took a more active role during my second placement - where I was at the national firm Ashfords solicitors, and I spent the week researching old land legislation which would determine the line of property that the client claimed to own, so that he could store vehicles in the specific area.
