Atticus is the character that embodies the supreme good and full justice . Atticus , a lawyer who has raised his children in a very liberal spirit and taught to think for themselves . When Atticus agrees to defend a black man accused of raping a white girl, children are in a position to ask for clarification of what their little community turned upside down and why Atticus is considered a bad man ,when you just want to learn the truth . To be brave is to know that you lost before undertaking anything , however entrepreneur anyway, and go to the end, whatever it is . Rarely win, however it happens sometimes. This is the 3rd lesson that Atticus gived to his childrens .This kind of courage is what animates on Atticus and Jem is inspiring from him , and he wants to be gentleman like his father . The children discover their father , with the discovery of the world.But most of it is quiet courage that Atticu stands before the gang of people come to lynch Tom Robinson , even before the trial.
