In chapter one, A boy name Moon shadow talks about him wanting to learn more about the Golden mountain. When Moon shadow was born his father left the Middle Kingdom. The Middle Kingdom is where all the Tangs lived. But the white demons called the Middle Kingdom China. In the day Moonshadow goes to the Golden Mountain. The Golden Mountain is America. Tang people calls America the Golden Mountain. As he arrived Moon shadow is frightened of the white demons so he starts to run. As he runs he sees a tall man very strange to Moon shadow. It was Moon Shadow's father Moon shadow thinks his father looked very strange. As the day goes on Moon shadow’s father brings Moon shadow to Uncle Bright Star. Then Uncle Bright Star said “Is this your boy,.” …show more content…
They were Brothers strange in a strange land. Moon shadow’s father told Moon shadow how his life was on the farm as a little boy. But then a Rock whizzed by Moon shadow’s ear and hot Red Rabbit. Through the ceiling they could hear Black dog snoring. The Uncle, Windrider, and White deer were talking about money. Handclap said “Money, Money, Money’’ disgustedly. They had a vote for some reason. Polk Street was were the poorer demons. There were lots of common stores in America. The common stores they had were The grocery stores and Poultry maker. Some of the common shop at America were Four feet tall it wasn’t that tall. The next day for Moon shadow was like every day to him because it felt the same. Moon shadow woke up right before Dawn. Moon shadow Did not want to make himself sound such like a goody. Later on In the story Moon shadow went to Miss Whitlaws house.
Robin was so excited for the Mock-up gliders Moon shadow’s father which was Windrider built. Moon shadow flew the Glider and leaped out of his hands and he flew three feet high up he goes into the air. The glider that Moon shadow's father built hovered so indecisively.
