Offenders and sinners are everywhere – including us, because we are not perfect. Offenders and sinners are those who violate the natural law, God’s law, as well as the rules and regulations prescribed by the society. There is no learning if we all know what to do. We will not learn from our mistakes, if we, people, do not offend or sinned from other people or even God. Atheists, on the other hand, are people who practice atheism. Atheism is a belief that God does not exist. The counterpart of atheism is theism. Theism refers to the belief that God do exist. It is divided into two categories - monotheism and polytheism. Satan is a former angel who rebelled against God which made him our enemy and God’s enemy. Even though Satan is God’s enemy, remember that God has no opposite and has no equal. Satan is just one of His creations. Dr. Neil Anderson noted, “If I were to tempt you, you would know it. If I were to accuse you, you would know it. But if I were to deceive you, you would not know it. The power of Satan is in the lie. If you remove the lie, you remove the power.” Dr. Anderson described Satan as the tempter, the accuser and the father of lies. And based from our own understanding in our Philosophy class, “God did not perish Satan and his evil works for us to differentiate goodness from evil. Also, evil is the corruption of what God has created because His creations were made imperfect.” God is always present and there for us to protect and teach us on how to prevent temptations, and it is our responsibility to resist those temptation brought by Satan’s evil works. At the end, we, people, are the ones who will decide what to do and what to avoid. We can clearly say that all of these are still part of God’s

In fact, Joyce M, Wegs views Satan as an inferior person and compares him to Arnold Friend. “Especially supernatural is mysterious knowledge about her, her family, and her friends. At one point, he even seems to be able to see all the way to the barbecue. ”(Wegs 207) Based on my findings, Arnold Friend is Satan, and is disguise trying to trick Connie into believing that he is a great person.…

Satan is another example of how even the most seamlessly-crafted of God’s creations are liable to defy Him, all stemming from the simple notions of freewill and reasonable thought. According to Dunnum, “The Father explicitly mentions that both angels and humans are responsible for their own freedom … so the discourse surrounding the fall of the rebel angels is concerned with (reason)” (Dunnum, 160). One must consider that while Satan is largely blamed for the fall of man, it may have been God’s bipartite system laid out since the beginning that initiated it, something that would not have occurred at all had God not been so distraught by man’s imperfection which He bestowed him. Man has always been innately free-willed and curious about the unknown, and was therefore doomed to fall since the start.…

Lucifer, the light bringer, and the most beautiful angel at God’s side. He shined brighter than all the other angels and had the most power next to God, but that was not enough. Cast into hell because of his pride and beginning to want nothing more than the power that was God’s and God’s alone, the fallen angel, Satan, is now commonly known as the ruler of all things evil, destructive, and bad. When thought of today, Satan brings to people’s minds things such as torture and sin, nothing at all like the light bringing angel he was once known as. Milton in Paradise Lost, however, seems to intentionally show the reader another side of this devil that takes pride in all sin, or so many people think.…

Angels, Cherubim and Seraphim, are God 's first creations according to the Bible, and serve him by carrying out his will on both the physical and spiritual planes. Their polar opposites, demons, fallen angels, are servants of sin, perpetrating evil, and allying themselves with Satan, God 's spiritual adversary. Satan, a fallen angel himself, committed the ultimate sin by leading a rebellion against God, and is determined to seize power away from Him by any means necessary. Such a fantastical narrative might seem far removed by some to our mundane human experience, and perhaps it would be, if we were not the means by which both God and Satan seek to achieve their goals. As such, humans fall in the cross hairs of the two most powerful beings in existence; it is our decision as to where we will place our…

Without being labeled these definitions of atheist and agnostic, respectively, are almost indistinguishable, both featuring a disbelief in a god or gods. The distinction tends to be a reluctance to be labeled as an atheist due to negative connotations usually associated with the term atheist (Niose) (Keane) (Michael!). With prominent atheists over the last few decades (Richard Dawkins, Christopher Hitchens, Stephen Fry, Lawrence M. Krauss, Victor Stenger, etc.) tending to be more confrontational the term agnostic has been more palatable to theists as well. Over the years that reluctance to be labeled as an atheist has normally signified a…
