I taught a twenty-minute lesson for the Discussion Guide assignment, completed in 381 Educational Psychology. The lesson was completed with a partner and our audience was the other students in our class. My lesson was completed on Module 14, “Critical thinking and Problem solving’. My partner and I focused a takeaway of critical thinking; the takeaway displayed that teachers must foster the growth of students’ critical thinking and problem solving skills by asking them questions that require higher-level thinking and by modeling problem solving strategies in class.
