The author feels that the above lesson plan has meet all of the 5E and inquiry academic standards for teaching science to student’s grade levels 1-3. The assignment engage students by allowing them to give positive input through question and answer times during the first instruction period, this allow for the students to give input on what they would like to learn about the academic subject matter, and pull from their own prior knowledge. This period also give the teacher an opportunity to modify the lesson plan to meet some of the student interest. The lesson plan provides students with activities which are hands on and allow them to use their critical thinking skill. Furthermore, the lesson plan holds the students attention with hands
