The employee selection process takes place in the following order:
1. Preliminary Interviews–it is used to eliminate those candidates who do not meet the minimum eligibility criteria laid down by Mix N’ Match. The skills, academic and family background, competencies and interest of the candidate are examined during the preliminary interview. The candidates are given a brief up about the company and the job profile; and are assessed on how much the candidate knows about the company.
Interview and selection
Remember about 7C’s while interviewing:
 Competent: Does the candidate have relevant skills, education and experience?  Capable: Does the candidate have capability to work in an unstructured & uncertain environment?
 Compatible: Will the candidate be able to work in a team?
 Commitment: Does the candidate seem committed for long term?
 Character: Does person’s character and values matches with the company values?
 Culture: Will the candidate adjust to the organization’s work culture?

Filling up of Application form – The candidates who clear the preliminary interview are required to fill the blank application. It contains data record of the candidates such as details about age, qualifications, reasons for leaving previous job, experience, etc.
3. Medical Examination – Medical tests are conducted to ensure physical fitness of the potential employee. Applicants with tuberculosis are automatically eliminated.
Work Schedule
According to Book III (Conditions of Employment) of the Labor Code of the Philippines, specially under Articles 83 and 84, the normal working hours of any employee is eight (8) hours a day and these shall include (a) all time during which an employee is required to be on duty or to be at the prescribed workplace; and (b) all time during which an employee is suffered or permitted to work
Below are the policies on the working hours of Mix N’ Match:
1. The 7 staffs will work on a shift basis. Three staff (2 assigned in the service area and 1 in the kitchen) will report on the opening shift (6:00 AM to 2:00 PM) and the rest must be present on the afternoon shift (2:00 PM to 7:00 PM). The schedule of the shifts is done on a weekly basis.
2. Each staff is entitled to a one-day leave per week.
3. If unable to report (except on leave), the staff must inform the owner at least one day before the day of
