Missouri Bill of Sale
Form 1957 or the Missouri Bill of Sale is a legal instrument provided by the Missouri Department of Revenue. Moreover, this form is also known as Missouri Even-Trade Bill of Sale. Likewise, a seller of a motor vehicle, boat, trailer, or outboard motor can use this form 1957 to record various aspects of the transaction. In addition, a seller can use this form to record a sale against trade or cash. Notary attestation for signatures on the form is mandatory.
Further, a seller requires preparing a Notice of Sale or Transfer in form 5049. Then, submit it to the office of the Missouri Department of Revenue immediately upon the completion of the sale. Similarly, use this form in case you are offering a motor vehicle or a boat as a gift to someone close to you.

Write the buyer's name and address. Write all buyers names on a separate line in case of co-ownership.
Then write seller's name and address. Write all sellers names on a separate line in case of co-ownership.
Continue by entering year, make, title number, and the VIN of the motor vehicle. Then write date and amount of the sale.
Provide similar requested information about boat, trailer, or outboard motor if applicable. Leave blank otherwise.
Then write the description of the vehicle traded for like year, make, title number, and VIN if applicable.
The purchaser and the seller must date and sign the form before a notary public of Missouri in your county of residence.
