Children don’t grow up thinking in a negative manner about their own or other ethnicity. As always, it’s something they learn from the ways their parents talk about their and other people’s ethnicities. In the case of my sister in law, she talks negatively about minorities and this only teaches her children to judge people by their culture and skin tone. She doesn’t teach them to be respectful and proud of who they are and where they come from. She lives in a low income community but feels she is better than any others because, her children attend a charter school at a more affluent community than hers. I understand there is nothing wrong in becoming and working for a better life but as long as you remember where you came from. If children
