Midna [a non-playable, sidekick, ally character in The Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess,] is a descendent from the Twili, a race from the Realm of Twilight in the Sacred Realm/Golden Land. She has a total of three forms: her true form [6 foot tall, goddess like build, with red eyes, pale blue skin and fiery hair], her imp-like form [similar to her true form but is two feet tall with a pudgy child-like build and wears a fused shadow piece as a mask] and her beast form [completed fused shadow pieces together with six black and electric-blue lined appendages sticking out from it that change to a fiery color when attacking]. She is playfully mischievous and has a little bit of a cynical behavior during most of the game. The Mirror serves as a link between the Twilight Realm and Hyrule, allowing beings to travel between the two worlds. With this, they’ll be able to catch Zant in the Realm of Twilight and defeat him together. Unfortunately, the Sages, who “guard” the Mirror of Twilight, reveal to Link Midna's true nature as the Twilight Princess. Cornered by her past, Midna finally reveals her intentions to Link. She tells him how she did not care about what happened to the Realm of Light so long as her own kingdom was restored to normal. She then informs Link and Princess Zelda that after seeing the selfless acts and sacrifices they have both made for her, she felt in the that she had to save Hyrule, too.
