6th grade should be able to play on middle school sports teams Have you ever felt upset that only 7th and 8th grade students are allowed to play on the middle school team? Have you ever wanted to represent your school in 6th grade sports? Sixth graders should be able to play on middle school sports teams. It helps kids excel in the classroom, encourages a healthy lifestyle, and helps kids stay out of trouble. One reason is that sports help kids excel in the classroom.
Not many people may think what you do on the court or on the field impacts what you do in the classroom. According to dailyparent.com “Students who are involved with at least one sport are more likely to get better grades than kids who don't take part in sports”. 6th grade children with a low self of steam are more likely to have behavioral problems, so having sports in 6th grade can boost his self esteem and give him a chance to blow it away. Using sports to control aggression is more effective than verbal therapy, The introduction of sports can reduce aggressive behavior by stopping negative emotions. 649 tests repeatedly showed that a program of sports helped boost self-control, discipline, and reduced aggression in children. -(Myinsightmag.com) Some people may say that It's a bad idea for 6th grade to play sports because our bones aren't as strong, but by the time we are in 7th grade our bones will almost be at full strength.
