At the end of our lesson we were told by our site supervisor to just make the worksheet more student friendly. This is an advance math class and our cooperating teacher really liked our worksheet, but she said that if it were for any other math class then the worksheet would have to be more student friendly. This just means that it would have to have some of the blanks filled in more on the worksheet, so students can get the hints from it and be able to work on it without having to try pull the information by themselves. This really didn't work for the students because it caused them a lot of confusion and made them ask a lot more questions. By the time the same question came up we had to regroup and talk about it all. Along with that I think I would work through the worksheet more with the students. We showed them what we were looking for once and then let them go on their own. But if we went through multiple examples with them then it would have helped them even more. We were told to try and model our thinking. Saying what we are thinking out loud and making it apparent on what we are looking for. This can help the students see what we want and how we want and how the "should" be thinking, even though they might think of the problem
