In 1974, Arizona voters passed along a new election system called,” merit selection”. This applies for counties that have 250,000 or more population. However, counties will lesser population can still apply this system if the voters of the county agree with it. Merit Selection has broader definition that has been break done in the following.
Special nonpartisan judicial nominating commissions process applications of those who filed and submitted nomination to the governor within sixty days.
