Mentor Observation

Do you know what city contains the longest beach in Ohio? It is Mentor, Ohio, containing Headlands Beach that is approximately one mile long. I chose this city because I have lived in the area my entire life and enjoy the many fascinating attractions the city offers to the community. Not only do I appreciate the city but my entire family also lives in Mentor, and I would like to live near them. Although Mentor is a fantastic city, I wonder if problems with the population of Mentor will affect traffic or pollution and cause families to become distant because they don’t want to travel through a populated city? Mentor is the city I chose to live in for the rest of my life because of the sensational job opportunities, attractions, city services, low crime rates, and the low cost of living in Mentor, Ohio.
What I Know Already I know many facts about Mentor, Ohio. First, I know that Mentor has an oversized population. I also know that Mentor provides residents with many activities, as it is home to the Mentor ice arena, Civic Center and President Garfield's house. The majority of the information I found regards the population, crime rates, job opportunities, city services, attractions, and the costs of buying or renting a home in Mentor. I found that most of the research was positive as there were only a few factors that were negative. One of the greatest factors about Mentor is that according to a report by Movoto, an online real estate and brokerage website, Mentor is ranked top ten in the Cleveland suburbs for young professionals (Roberts 8). As I am striving to one day become a doctor, I find this is an astonishing factor. All in all, I’ve discovered that Mentor is an excellent city to begin my life after
