The assignment was interesting in that this is my first time evaluating works of art though I am not evaluating the similarities but contrasting the form and content.

The image is a cultural expression.The Egyptians infused their culture with their religious practices and beliefs.
Used to praise the king and draw attention to not only his accomplishments but his personality and form.
Visual Form
The visual form seems to have been created with great attention to detail and depicts a somewhat distorted facial expression though the bodies are well formed and sculpted.Their faces depict a realism in that you can see the personalities of the two forms.
In contrast to the Memi and Sabu work, the Gudea work really drives to show the movement and dynamic nature of this subject.By the look on his face you can see the pious and attempt at humility.The visual form is appealing and the use of the head gear draws your attention to his eyes and crossed hands.
Line and shape
The lines are visible and linear and are easy to see and understand
Lines are smooth and flowing and give distinct impressions about physic, facial expression and overall stature.
Color
The color is neutral and its saturation is at the top of the scale while the hue is shifted toward the right of the
