To the naked eye this look like a soiled structure but under a microscope it look more like more honeycomb. Haversian canals run length ways are passageways containing blood vessels, lymph capillaries and nervous which run through the tissue. Compact bone is found on the outside of most bones and the shaft of long bones. Medullary cavity is a hollow tube located in the center of the shaft of long bones it contains yellow bone marrow which is storage for fat for adults.

Cancellous Bone:
This type of bone looks like a sponge and it is found at both ends of long bones and in irregular, flat and sesamoid bones. Bone marrow only exists in cancellous bone
