The medieval time period was during the 5th- 15th century. It was an era of horses, hard times, and ranks. The people were very different to us, in speech and dress. Entertainment was more physical and demanding. What we take for granite today, they would have never dreamed of back then. While we sit in warm homes, they were bundled up trying to survive. We have a great deal of new technology while in those times they were lucky to have what they did have. They had a little standing in ranks or money they would ride horses. If they weren’t that lucky, they would simply walk were they wanted to go? Another privilege we have is indoor electricity, while they only had candles. The homes were basic nothing but essentials sometimes even less.
