Medical ethics are a set of principles which include: acting with professionalism, treating patients with dignity and respect, helping them make informed decisions pertaining to their health, providing equal care to all, and aim to apply the classic saying “do no harm”. Ethics in a classroom/learning environment consists of doing your own work, taking responsibility for one’s self, and being organized; basically it boils down to honesty and hard work. Pertaining to a team atmosphere ethics involves treating those around you with respect, being trustworthy, having integrity, cooperate and contribute. An example of a team ethics would be giving credit where credit is due. All aspects of ethics can usually be applied to life in general, the saying “treat others how you’d like to be treated” is a great simple way of applying ethics to everyday
