While search through the social media platform Instagram I came across this photo of Jordan Dunn promoting the Maybelline New York Rock Nude palette. Six weeks ago the photo was posted for New Years Eve. Jordan Dunn was just one of the models that were promoting the new eyeshadow palette. This Instagram account does not particular name one person who contributes to the photos but it own by Maybelline. Maybelline is a cosmetic company based in New York. Tom Williams created the Maybelline Company in 1915. He was only nineteen years old when he founded the company. The whole concept of Maybelline New York is to take trends from the catwalk to the street. Maybelline inspires women to explore new looks and to express their creativity and individuality.

She is also is wearing the rock nude palette colors for her eyeshadow which includes purple and dark blue. She is also holding the palette against her left eye. She has shoulder length dark blonde hair. The model is also sitting down in a chair against a white with light purple curtains in the back. The background makes the model pop out in the photo and draws the viewer's eye to the central figure.
When the viewer analysis the photo one major concept that pulls this photo together is lighting. The white wall reflects the light and makes the central figure stand out against the rest of the objects in the photo. The brightness level is high in this photo, which contibute to the central figure is separate from the background. The lighting also creates depth in the photo with shadowing. This photo could also be used a form of persuasion. This photo advertises the rock nude palette for the teens and young adults.
