I have been working in a nursing home for a little over a year as a dietary aide and have witnessed many problems within the dietary department. The root cause to all of the problems in the dietary department is bad management from my former manager, Sara. Case Study #1: Treva’s Family One of the theories that will help me explain what could be happening in this family is conflict theory. One key concept from the theory that will help me understand the issues is that all people struggle to survive, especially as family members come and go, age, and change.
