Marketing Strategy
• What are we going to do?
Macy’s is going to attract customers to department stores and the online website. Due to the lack of people coming and shopping online.
• Why are we doing it?
To increase customer experience that they won’t fully get online and to increase sales. Macy’s needs to improve their numbers because due to lack of sales, they are closing department stores and they are losing their reason for existents.
• How are we going to do it?
Properly train staff in product awareness and service. Also, utilize New Media. Having knowledge of products is very important and from experience Macy’s staff lacks product knowledge. They need to train their staff to not only know what products they care, but why they care them. New media is also something that Macy’s needs to improve on. I hardly ever run into any discussion online about Macy’s. Some online discussions are good and some are bad for a business, but Macy’s isn’t either.
