Marine Biology Research Paper

Did you know a large portion of all life on Earth lives in the ocean? The ocean is a complex place that covers almost three quarters of the Earth’s surface. Marine biology is the study of marine organisms, their behaviors, and their interactions with the environment. The habitats studied in marine biology include everything from study the of the atmosphere, the depth of the ocean canyons, fish, and natural disasters.

In order for a marine biologist to work in the field they would need to have completed geometry, trigonometry,and calculus. Marine biologists study habitats of fish, where fish live, what the fish eats, and what the fish does. Many people in the field of marine biology enjoy working with marine life. Marine biologists rescue marine animals and help them until they are able to survive on their own. Marine biologists contribute to the reason why marine animals are still alive on this planet. Marine organisms need a lot of care to stay alive. Some marine organisms don’t have enough of what they need because there's not enough food or other fish are eating their food source. Humans also play a part in in the loss of marine life and their habitat. The fishing techniques and pollutants that are put into the water by fishing boats, cruise ships and other shipping boats are destroying marine life and hurting the environment. Our carelessness can be prevented. Plastics such as our water bottles harm many marine animals. That's bad because fish, dolphins, and whales like to check things out to see what they are. And when they get injured because it’s something harmful it can affect them how they eat, live, and swim. A simple trash can and taking a moment to clean up after yourself is a start in helping to take care of our marine and land
