However, when the electronic technology arrived in the cell phones industry, Samsung’s top management never fully grasped how the world around them was changing, they competing through their existing markets rather than taking the harder route of developing new products and new businesses, which lead to the demise of the company. Samsung became at the top level in the market. By contrast with Samsung, Apple Inc. is an American multinational technology company that designs, develops, and sells consumer electronics, computer software, online services, and personal computers, their successful strategy management especially the CEO Steve job, made them the number one in the global marked. To survive in the competition, one of the most important things is to understand customer’s needs. Managers must realize that customers have different values and requirements at different time. Keeping in touch with the customer is the very basic work of building competitive advantages. Several aspects (situation, psychology, income and society, etc.) influence customers’ buying decision. Situation influences include physical surroundings, social surroundings, time, purchase reason, and buyers’ mood and condition.
