Personal Case Study Of Mallorie's Pregnancy In Young Children

Jaxon is an energetic five-year-old. He lives with his mother, father, 2 older step brothers, both age 9, and an older step sister, age 7. Jaxon’s father, Aaron holds a fulltime managerial position whereas, his mother Mallorie is a stay at home parent. He is enrolled in a half day pre-kindergarten program.
Prenatal
Jaxon’s mother Mallorie experienced a happy pregnancy, but stressful. Mallorie, experienced pre mature labor at twenty-six weeks. Thus, she was hospitalized until her thirty third week of pregnancy. During Mallorie’s pregnancy with Jaxon, she practiced good nutrition practices, and took the proper vitamins. Mallorie was not able to exercise during her pregnancy with Jaxan due to, being a high risk pregnancy.

He is a very quick learner and is very independent. It wasn't until he was older, around 4, that he started getting upset during separation from mom or dad.
Social
Jaxon is very friendly and outgoing when it comes to making friends and playing with his peers. Jaxon is very sympathetic to others. If another child is hurt on the playground or one of his sisters or brothers are upset, he is quick to ask what is wrong and how he can help fix the situation. Also, Jaxon plays on a Soccer team with his peers.
Diet
Jaxon has a very diverse palette. He is very aware of which foods are healthy, and makes it a point to choose those foods when picking what he'd like to eat for lunch or dinner. He loves grilled cheese, like most children, but will almost always choose vegetables or fruits as a snack. Additionally, he is quick to remind his mother every morning that he needs to take his multivitamins to stay healthy.
Physical skills
Jaxon has a lot of energy. He loves running around with friends and his siblings, and he loves playing soccer.

His siblings split time between their house and their mom's house. Jaxon has a very close relationship with their mom and her husband, and Jaxon will occasionally accompany them to their mom's. The family structure is one big family and they try to co-parent to the best interests of the children.
Weaknesses
Jaxon throws temper tantrums when he does not get his way. He wants to compete and do the same things his older siblings are, but there is a four-year age difference between he and his older brothers. This difference causes grief towards Jaxon’s interactions with his older siblings. Jaxon is very energetic and it is hard for him to stay on task, he gets distracted easily. Moreover, Jaxons home life is very disruptive. His parents have been separated for the past two years, but are newly back together in a family structure.
