To begin with, Malcolm X instilled values in African Americans. Self confidence is important to have when constantly being brought down. In the past people of the same culture did not show support and love towards one another, it happens to still be present in today’s generation. “Today it seems we still don’t love, care about or respect people who look like us. As Malcolm said, this is due to ignorance and greed. And a skillfully designed program of miseducation that goes right along with the American system of exploitation and oppression” (Lipscomb). Some have more than others, and feel that their race should have equal amount of everything. People need to understand everybody can not do or have the same necessities, which is why everybody can not come together as one, support, and love their race.
