"‘I am not a lone voice, I am many’ -Malala" (“He named”). Malala Yousafzai is a proven epic hero by her daily actions against the horrible treatment of others in the world. Yousafzai is an admired activist for many causes, and a huge threat against the Islamic extremist group, the Taliban. She has done so many honorable actions and does not expect any award or recognition; she does this out of the kindness of her heart. She also has pride for her home country and has achieved many tasks to make her country more peaceful. Malala Yousafzai has been proven by her actions to be an extraordinary human being; an epic hero.

Yousafzai faces the Taliban as a “supernatural foe” and at many attempts to silence her, they have only encouraged her to fight for what she believes in even more. In response, the Taliban gave to her national recognition, they voted to kill her (“He named”). The Taliban decided that Malala Yousafzai was a huge threat to their power. One of their members took the challenge and tried to end Yousafzai’s journey. Yousafzai found out about this threat when the “Taliban assassin climbed onto her bus, called her out by name and shot her in the head” (Baker). The shooter had called Malala Yousafzai out by name to confirm his target. To give his best shot, he aimed for her head to try and assure her death. Luckily for Yousafzai, the bullet did not harm her in anyway. To insure her safety, Yousafzai was moved to Birmingham in the United Kingdom for further treatment and access to more resources to ensure her healing (Baker). She has become the world’s most admired Children-Rights activist; people around the world are glad for her recovery. Malala Yousafzai faced this horrific supernatural foe, the Taliban, and came out of this situation stronger than over, proving her to be an epic
