RE: COMPLAINT ABOUT THE POOR VENTILATION QUALITY DUE TO NON-FUNTIONING ELECTRICAL SOCKETS AT PF5 ROOM IN THE COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT ON 28 MARCH 2016.

As a student of the College of Management for two years I am displeased to see the poor quality of the ventilation system in the PF5 room during our First Long Exam in Macroeconomics on March 28.

From the testimonies that I have gathered, most of the students from three different sections who took the exam in the same room experienced difficulty in answering each question due to too much heat brought by the weather. The heat was then worsen by three non-operating electric fans caused by the non-functional sockets where the fans should be plugged in. As what Ms. Gin Antoniette Sanoria, a second year accountancy student has said, “There are enough numbers of electric fans in the classroom that could support 30 to 40 students. However, the existence of non-functional electric sockets made it impossible for the electric fans to operate. This is the reason why the exam in Macroeconomics became more difficult because students cannot properly concentrate on answering the questions.”

Cloyd Tejano, an assigned class representative, has filed a letter of complaint to the Dean’s office stating the need for the replacement of the sockets at the earliest possible time. Also, on February 2, Mr. Alex Poras, a Philosophy 1 instructor who teaches at the same room at 8:30-10:00 in the morning and 1:00-2:30 in the afternoon, has personally asked the Dean to take an immediate response regarding the issue because it can further disrupt the concentration of the students. However, with all the necessary actions done by the concerned parties, any response from the Dean was not

The supply goes down as the demand of the apples goes up. If you have a lot of apples in demand then there will be more people wanting the apples. Another example is that you have an advertisement where the apples prevent cancer more people will buy these so they can refrain from getting cancer. Disappointments Since I started the ACCG950 course, there are not many disappointed points. I would say that my disappointment relates to the location of our classroom and the attendant of students. Firstly, I acknowledge that the classroom was changed because the room is too small for all students. With your concerns, the new room is big enough for all students; however, the number of students attending the lecture has been low.…

In high school, students are constantly reminded of the need to pursue an education beyond high school. Students are advised to take certain steps towards receiving a higher education, usually at a university that most individuals are familiar with. When I think about college life, I think of what some may picture out of a typical movie scene. I see thousands of students walking across a beautifully designed campus, some swarming the hallways scurrying from class to class, others strolling their way over to the campus Recreation Center for some down time. In Graeme Wood’s “Is College Doomed,” Wood investigates into a new perspective of a for-profit undergraduate education system that lacks a campus in which individuals associate with the typical university, called Minerva.…

Towards the end of the 17th century, Europe’s economy was agrarian, meaning it was a type of economy that relied primarily on agricultural industry, including livestock farming or crop production. As a result of this, there was usually only just enough production to barely survive, and additionally, many people were constantly on the verge of famine. This was mostly due to the unpredictability of the current agricultural system, which allowed for bad weather and bad harvest to entirely dictate the economy. Not to mention, the complete crop failure experience every 8-9 years. In addition, contrary to typical slow population growth, during the 1600’s, due to the struggle for resources by the population and widespread poverty, birth rates were…
