Organizing is the function of management that involves developing an organizational structure and allocating human resources to ensure the achievement of the company’s objectives ("Principles Of Management 1.1 | Flat World Education"). The structure of the organization is the framework within which effort is coordinated. The structure of the company is shown as an organization chart, which delivers a graphic representation of the chain of command within an organization ("Principles Of Management 1.1 | Flat World Education"). Besides that, organizing also includes the assignation of individual works in an organization. Centralized organization is an organization in which high-level executives make most decisions and pass them down to lower levels for implementation. Many important decisions are made at higher levels of the hierarchy, thus the lower levels of hierarchy have to follow the rules and directions that had set by the higher levels of hierarchy (Flat World Knowledge, 2016). Besides that, branches and stores from all over the world are directly related to the head-quarter of MUJI in Japan, however the daily and operational decisions are taken by the employees that work in that particular …show more content…
Besides, MUJI also concern about the environment, hence MUJI uses raw and recycled materials that can buy in bulk from legal sources. MUJI has specialist designers and also corporate with other designers and manufacturers such as Thonet, which is the oldest furniture maker in Germany (refer to Appendix 3).
