PCP has the same psychological effects as LSD but they are two different drugs. PCP is often called by the name of “angel dust” and was first created in 1959. “It was briefly used as an anesthetic for humans before its harmful side effects of confusion and delirium came to light”(Berger 63). PCP was actually labeled “one of the most dangerous drugs to hit the streets”(Berger 64) by a physician back in 1984. The reason why PCP is so dangerous is because it causes to people to become enraged to the point where their anger takes complete control of them. PCP is also a white powder that is compacted to make pills or tablets but this powder can be heated to make a vapor or liquid. PCP is either inhaled, injected or digested depending on the way the abuser chooses to take the drug will affect the amount of time before they start to feel the effects of the drug. Even though the symptoms and effects of PCP are a lot like those of LSD
PCP is still a way more dangerous and addictive drug than LSD.
