Romance is the eighth studio album by Mexican singer Luis Miguel (pictured), released by WEA Latina in 1991. At the suggestion of his manager, he recorded classic boleros on the album, after songwriter Juan Carlos Calderón pulled out of a collaboration on pop songs and ballads. Singer-songwriter Armando Manzanero co-produced the album with Miguel, with arrangements by Bebu Silvetti. Miguel promoted the record with a tour of the United States and Latin America. The songs were generally well received by music critics, who praised the singing and production, and Miguel received a Grammy nomination for Best Latin Pop Album.
