Although there are many precious things that one can have in the world, good friends are vital for a healthy, balanced life and are perhaps the most precious. We make friends not to use them, but for the bonds of friendship. Friends are those who will support you through everything you do and accept you for who you are. However, my good friends know that I will make mistakes and do not attempt to mock and prove me wrong. Loyalty is another attribute that makes up a good friend. One of my friends was once who I thought was a good friend, but when it came down to a time when I truly needed her, it became evident that she was not loyal. Over the years, I have only one friend who has truly been loyal to me, and that was one who has supported me throughout all the years I’ve known her.
