In the movie Me Before You, Louisa Clark moves from one job to the next trying to help her family with money. Her attitude is to be put to the test when she becomes the caregiver for Will Traynor, a rich man who was hit by a motorcycle which left him paralyzed. Will’s doubtful point of view starts to change when Lou shows him that life is worth living for. As their bond grows stronger, their lives and feelings change in ways neither one could’ve imagined.

Will wants to die. He’s decided he doesn’t want to live as a person with quadriplegia, and after one suicide attempt, he’s agreed to give his parents six months before seeking out physician-assisted suicide in Switzerland. His mother is hoping to use those six months to change his mind,
