LO8.1 Explain integrations and the role they play in connecting a corporation
The ability to gain personalized information by allowing separate system to communicate directly witch each other; this often requires companies build a customized architecture or structure of application to combine new or existing hardware or software and other communication.
One the role that integration play is that organization only has to enter information into the system once and it is automatically and sends to the rest of the other system and reduces information redundancies creating huge advantage for organization.

Challenges of SCM
The primary challenges are cost and complexity but are typically partner for SCM system to become affective. A lack of collaboration between marketing sales and manufacturing within company and supplier, partner and distribution outside of a company can easily sabotage SCM effort sending the multimillion-dollar investment down. And globalization is another biggest challenge because customer not only wants lower prices but they also want their product on time. LO8.3 Describe customer relationship management along with its associated benefits and challenges.
CRM is a term that refers to practices; strategies and technologies use to manage and analyze customer interaction to increase customer loyalty and retention and increase profitability and every time customer communicate with the customer the firm has the change to build a trusting relationship with the customer.
Benefit of CRM
• Allow company to operate more efficiently and effectively in the area of supporting customer.
• CRM more far beyond technology identifying customer
