Liver Failure: Liver Disease (Autoimmune Hepatitis)
According to research, Liver failure patients experience chronic problems and accrue long term problems. Liver failure is an inflammation or a very un-normal function that occurs within weeks or days. (Clinic 15) There are various symptoms of this disease. Some symptoms can be known as swelling in your body such as in your feet, and hands. Another symptom is very unusual dark urine, loss of appetite, abdominal pain. The main symptom is known to be jaundice. Jaundice is the yellowing of your skin, eyes, or anywhere that is a part of your body. Scientists have recognized that “Acute Hepatitis” or any other liver disease causes injury to other organs by shocks, or causing enlargement. Some damages are made by cytokines. Cytokines have been when any number of substances in the immune system has effects on other cells. Issues in various areas are done by the liver. One major issue people seem to recognize is to be enlarged. Enlargement in other organs is very dangerous. Something that is enlarged can be dangerous because a vein can burst or the organ can fail. It also affects the nervous system. When effecting the nerve system, it could cause a coma or you can lose circulation. Metabolism is a huge part of your body. When it gets to your metabolism, it affects the way you eat, grow, and type of bone support needed. Issues with any liver disease form more issues of the body that isn’t needed. Your lungs are also affected. When your lungs are affected, you can’t breathe, and it could go into any type of muscle mass loss. Liver dysfunctions are so hard to rate. When it comes to survival rate, those who have any type of liver disease that is not very serious is likely to live after 30 years. It is known to be a self – perpetuating inflammation of an unknown cause hepatitis, and this then goes to the liver associating with autoantibodies. (Friedman 70) There are known to be two types of autoimmune hepatitis. The first type of autoimmune hepatitis is characterized by SMA, it’s the most common type in the U.S. Now, the second type of autoimmune hepatitis is very well commonly affected to children. Autoimmune hepatitis usually has basic diagnostic tests. This disease is associated with other types of immune problems. When you have problems with your immune system, you are able to get sicker than regular people. When you have a problem, most likely you will fill worst in your body then you really are. Doctors have to do different types of test just to figure out what is really making your immune system not fight off all the bad cells. In meaning to examine the liver doctors have to give you blood test, biopsies, etc. (71) For anyone to figure out this disease, the requirements are very high. Any test that are done can sometimes be passed by an international panel. The requirement for you to be recommended to have this disease is that you have at least 6 months with any established chronicity. Doctors also check bile movements.
