Stress increases the chance of group conflict because when we are under stress it can causes our commination and listening skills to suffer. When you are stress you often don’t listen to what others have to say and you are more likely to be verbally aggressive. When you or your group are under stress you have difficulty meeting due dates and constantly have disagreements on everything. Being stressed can affect the way you look at situations and can cause you and your group to panic and rush important decisions.

Ways you can improve your active listening skills are by always making sure to make eye contact with the speaker, you can show that you are interested in listening to what the person is saying.
