Opened in 2013, Berckmans Place at Augusta National by invitation only is one of the most exclusive clubs at the Masters. The Masters Tournament is known to be one of the most coveted tickets in all of sporting events to try to get ahold of. Only a few are able to get passes but to get credentials to Berckmans Place is even an harder task. Costing $6,000 per ticker and boasting five all inclusive restaurants serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, four inside and one outside on the putting greens, its no wonder why it is one of the hardest tickets to obtain.…

I am writing this letter in recommendation of John Honeycutt for the receipt of the West Stanly High School Alumni Scholarship. I have supervised John for two years now as a part-time employee with our Parks and Recreation Department. Through his involvement with the Locust community, he has proven to be a truly valuable asset to the department. John is extremely reliable, trustworthy, and willing to take on new challenges in order to accomplish a set goal. During my time of knowing John, he has organized and managed our main concession stand as well as the park itself.…
The facility that we decided to choose was USF- The Claw, which is located at 13801 N 46th St, Tampa, FL 33613. This golf course is open to the public, even though USF men and women’s golf team uses it as their own personal practice facility. We felt that this facility was appropriate for our event for the golf course is located within ten minutes of Shriners Hospital children's hospital on USF campus. There were many other golf course options that we could of went but didn’t. Since they were not able to hold a charity type event.…
From an objective point of view, one would say that the Tim Horton’s Timbits Minor Sports Program is a very generous and beneficial program based purely on its statistics. My subjective point of view does not differ from this one bit. I think that Time Horton’s charitable actions have been so helpful to the youth of Canada. I like the fact that the program offers various sports in order to cater to the kids’ desires. The size of the program I find is an unbelievable number.…
Yes, the 27-year-old right hander finally looks like the pitcher everyone envisioned when he was a highly touted prospect six years ago. But the dominance he's displayed since mid-2015 doesn't — and shouldn't — erase the other five years of his injury-riddled career, which makes the Nats' extension a puzzling gamble that seems based on wishful thinking and a way-too-small sample size. Anything but a reliable rotation presence during his six-year career, Strasburg already has had five separate DL stints, missing time for ailments including shoulder stiffness, neck tightness, muscle strains and, of course, a torn UCL in 2010 that required Tommy John surgery. Not to mention the few times he's left games with non-DL concerns such as heat exhaustion and shoulder irritation.…
The situation I will be sharing of where the power and prestige theory was presented is my summer baseball coaching job. This past summer I hired as an assistant coach for a 17 year old Long Island baseball team. The organization that the team was affiliated with was an organization that I have been involved with since the very beginning of my baseball career. Besides myself there was also another college baseball player that attended and played baseball at a local division III university, hired to be the other assistant coach and a local high school was hired as the head coach. During the summer league it was my job as well as the other assistant coach, Tommy, to run practices and help out during games.…
There have been many volunteer organizations that I have had the privilege to be a part of, yet the dearest to my heart has been the Sheldon Little League. This is a baseball and softball organization which helps kids learn the fundamentals of baseball and softball through volunteer coaching. Sheldon Little League is a community wide affair that takes numerous of non-paid volunteers to run. This past year I was able to serve as the T-Ball player agent where I oversaw all activity in the 4-6 age division. I am a very service oriented person and I feel like Little League is an amazing organization to be involved with, seeing as it has numerous opportunities to help others.…
The University of Southern California football program is in shambles; right now trying to pick up the pieces after having to fire coach Steve Sarkisian who has been battling alcohol abuse problems. It's something that had to be done because it's been reported he was drunk on the sidelines during games and at school gatherings so I don't blame them for this at all. However, I do question athletic director Pat Haden and how he's running the football program at this time because over the past few years since Pete Carroll left for the Seahawks it's been a revolving door for USC at the coaching position. It takes time to rebuild college programs and I don't think Haden has given the coaches in recent times a chance to implement…
I play on the women's collegiate softball team at St. Thomas University. I have been playing softball since I could walk and, along with every other athlete, my dream is to play on the biggest and brightest stage possible. For softball that is the NCAA College World Series. Unfortunately, I don't have the ability to make millions of dollars playing professional softball like many other professional athletes. This is it for me because college is the highest level of softball I will play in my life and I don't want to settle at a school where I know my athletic ability and hard work could get me so much further.…
Tires crunched on the loose gravel parking lot as I was dropped off at my high school’s tennis courts on the first day of school. With my high school requiring a year of physical education, I opted to take the lifetime sport for I was nervous to compete for a spot on the highly competitive teams my school was known for. I was met at the court by 30 other freshmen with a mixed variety of expertise spanning from the first time to ever hold a racquet to a district ranked player. The district ranked player’s father, Mr. Weaver, was a sophomore chemistry teacher who happened to play tennis professionally in his heyday. Mr. Weaver volunteered to teach the freshman tennis team and to train them the basics before they were transferred to “the real…
Tony, Thanks for your email. I am working to see how I will bring her here. She applied to William Woods University. Their masters program cost around 11k for the whole program. However, they don't have engineering degrees.…

Where can lush fairways, meticulously carved acres of beautiful pine, and oak trees be seen? A golf course presents an opportunity to see the beauty of nature, in a calming, and enlightened environment, while giving a competitor of any age or skill level a challenging, but exciting experience. Golf is perhaps the most intriguing, deep-seated game due to its beautiful golf courses, intense preparation, and clear mindset.
