Pollution is all around the earth, in many nooks and crannies. Many people go through there every day life overlooking a simple, but at the sometime complex issue. There are many different types of pollutants and many more buried down under the main ones. The three main types of pollutants include, air pollution, water pollution, and soil pollution, but this isn’t all of them. There are pollutants such as noise and light that are not as popular as the others, but still exist. All of these pollutants surround our spherical globe and are a regularly occurring day by day. Pollution is defined as “the action of polluting especially by environmental contamination with man-made waste” (Merriam-Webster). Many Humans don’t know or understand what pollution is or how it happens. Light and sound pollution is all around and hard to distinguish. Light pollution is described as “The inappropriate or excessive use of artificial light” (Light Pollution). An example of light pollution is when street lights cause such a glow that the stars in space can’t be seen, because of how much light is being admitted from Earth. Light pollution can be caused in many different scenarios and can even harm many creatures. Sound pollution is another less heard of pollutant, but it still exists on Earth. Sound pollution is defined as “regular exposure to elevated sound levels that may lead to adverse effects in humans or other living organisms” (What Is Noise Pollution?). An example of sound pollution is when highways or roadways are built next to an ecosystem, and the noise ends up causing the ecosystem’s population to decline. Noise pollution is also present in nature when loud distracting sounds occur, such as lightning or thunder. Even though many of these pollutants are not easily recognized, doesn’t mean they don’t
