Avid 10 Life Goal Essay We all have goals, some might be more important than the other nonetheless they still are things people want to achieve. I’m Anise Delahoussaye I am 15 and I too have goals I would love to accomplish some day. Some of my goals include graduating high school with a 3.6 (or higher) GPA, getting into Uc Berkeley, start my own nonprofit organization, and being able to be independent/financially stable on my own once I'm 18. I know I can reach these goals because I am hardworking and can be very determined to do things I want to accomplish. In 9th grade I learned how to balance my classes and keep focused. As for career goals I want to own a non profit organization and my own cafe/produce store. I’ve already stated why I want to start my own non-profit and that is because I want to give back to the less fortunate. The reason i want to have my own cafe and produce store is because I love cafes they are very calm and collected and i also want to run my own small store so to have a combined “store” such as this would be such a big goal and dream for me. An obstacle that could get in the way of me achieving my goals is a lack of motivation. To overcome this I plan on surrounding myself with motivational people who not only want to see me succeed but see themselves succeed This is because it would cause an inspirational and great environment for everyone to be in. Another obstacle could be money because getting into college and starting your own business is not cheap. To get over this I can start to save now and get a job until I can start to create my own job. I can also learn to budget my money according to future …show more content…
In the future I would love to try and get out into the community more through YLI. YLI is an organization I joined because they help the community and I thought it was a good idea to join get active in my own community and make good public relations. Also I want to get into V.O.S (voices of struggle). I love the idea of V.O.S they advocate about things that actually matter in the world. Rather than what talking about what celebrities are doing V.O.S talks about real world issues such as the BLM protests, Standing Rock Protests and focuses on the unjust things that happens to
