Individual agencies that work free from state cooperation develop governance, protocols and procure equipments that are often incompatible with other states. Informal concurrence with other jurisdictions, while the first positive step, should be incorporated into the formal plan that take into account verifiable agreements and protocols. In data communication, they are always striving to increase throughput, this would include allowing nodes to transmit information over a single broadcast link without interfering with each other. To achieve this, multiple access protocols coordinate the transmission. The three classes of multiple access protocols are, random access, taking-turns and channel partitioning. With random access protocol, each node tries to randomly to use the complete broadcast link, without any regard to the other nodes. Taking-turns protocol uses some type of turning mechanism, which designates which node is allowed to transmit.…

In the essay Making Conversation, I agree with most of the ideas that Appiah had talked about. Appiah says “if a normal baby girl 40,000 years ago was kidnapped by a time traveler and raised by a normal family in New York, she would be ready for college in eighteen years”. Appiah is trying to say in today’s society going to college is the norm and with a normal family the parents would shape the girl in that direction. I believe that is true even if the baby girl was from a different time period, she would learn and grow up to today’s lifestyle and go to college by eighteen. Appiah also says that if you walk down 5th avenue you will see more people than most prehistoric gatherers saw in a lifetime.…

The sharing of health information across state borders is a growing and appropriate concern in the modern world in which distances between places seem less than in previous years due to increased technology and upgraded transportation methods (Nelson & Staggers, 2018). Water is the world’s most critical resource, sustaining life while enabling economic and social development. The necessity of water for human development is highlighted by the copious amounts of water used on a daily basis in agricultural practices and in order to manufacture consumables, process and extract minerals, generate power, as well as process food and beverages.
