Stuart Fernie is one of the most famous writers, that's why I choose his article from his own website. In this article Fernie talks about the main characters, he focuses on the way of how they act, think and gives background about each one of them. He mentions many examples, and I'm interested in Valjean character because he is the most famous character in this novel. Fernie focuses on him more than the others, he gives many numbers of examples of Valjean's heroism. This article is useful and full of information that contribute to my understanding of the novel story.

This college was the first member of the Seven Sisters colleges. This website help me to found useful information that’s will help me with my research. This article focus in Victor Hugo political views that are reflected in his novel. He addressed three main political themes in Les Miserables, which are; the need for social progress and treatment improvement for the poor people, the need of death penalty abolishment, and the need for prison reform. This political view was the conditions of Frances prison systems, and Hugo showed contempt towards the injustice of the law enforcement system. Edward discusses the message of this novel in how the author condemns the social injustice in France for turning good people into criminals and beggars by dealing with all kinds of injustice. This article talk about the novel, which has been adapted for the stage and numerous films and how this novel represents social justice by giving examples of the movie adaptation and the novel. Anyway, the article examines points that I do not agree with it because it is a conflict with the theme "social injustice" which was very clear in every part of the novel. Even I didn’t agree that’s will not make this article useless because I learned from others opinion.
