Leonardo Pisano's Accomplishments

Honor means in the dictionary high respect; esteem. My definition of honor is a role model of some kind that you have high respect for. Leonardo Pisano, better known as Fibonacci, was born in 1170 in Pisa which is a city of Italy. He was the son of Guilielmo and Alessandra.
One of his accomplishments was the Fibonacci Sequence. The Fibonacci Sequence is a series of numbers where the last two numbers equal the next number. Like 1,1,2,3,5,8,13 and so on. You can calculate it by this formula, F(n) = (2/Ö5) {- [-2/(1-Ö5)]n / [1 - Ö5] + [-2/(1+Ö5)]n/ [1 + Ö5]}. Another one of his accomplishments was that he helped to promote the use of the Hindu/Arabic numeral system in Europe. The ten digits are 0, 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and 9. A numerical system
