It was July 9th 2009 my 8th birthday, and at the time my life was consumed by my obsession with Lego sets, even though I was known to rage when I couldn’t figure out a difficult part. We were visiting family in California and it just so happened that it was my birthday. And my parents surprised me with a day in Lego land.
As we drive up to Lego Land, about every 500 feet there is a letter made out of Legos, W-E-L-C-O-M-E, it spells. After we got our ticket to park we found a spot towards the end of the lot, even though we could have parked closer, we got ready our bag ready to walk in. It was a sun bag filled with snacks, water, sunscreen, etc. But we left our swim suits in the car because we were going to grab them and change in a bathroom inside the park. As we walked in the park there was a tall cement wall, as tall as trumps, blocking the inside visitors from the outside world. The wall was tall but not tall enough so you could catch glimpses of the park inside. On our way In we passed the giant garbage that was full of old Lego creations that they threw out in the recent remodel. The line to get in the park was short because we got there near opening time, they scanned our tickets and we walked in. Behind us we saw a sign that read "WELCOME TO LEGO LAND" we had some one take a picture of us, then we grabbed a map, and went to the first ride. …show more content…
