In the case of legalizing prostitution, Jake and I take the stance on keeping the current laws on the matter. Stricter laws need to be put in place which prevent prostitution. Prostitution can lead to many different types of crimes. Human trafficking can result from the legalization, which in turn could lead to the rise of organized crimes. Over 60% of abuse towards prostitutes comes from the clients, with 20% coming from police and another 20 coming from abusive relationships. One possible route for prostitution is decriminalization, which would make the buying of sex illegal, but the selling legal. With this we believe that prostitution should be criminalized and shown as a moral invalue.
