As concerned parents of students, at Legacy Traditional School of Maricopa, this letter is to inform you that our tolerance for the disorganization and lack of discipline that has occurred in Legacy Maricopa is officially depleted.
While Legacy School continues to grow, leadership at the Maricopa Campus has failed over the last few years to make good on the promise stated in the school Philosophy and mission statement
"Legacy Traditional School mission is to provide motivated students with the opportunity to achieve academic excellence in an accelerated, back-to-basics, safe learning environment taught by caring, knowledgeable and highly effective educators in cooperation with supportive, involved parents."

I would bet, parents of children who have died in school shooting would have appreciated the forewarning that we have with this student, the choice would be easy remove the student or they would have removed their child.
After meeting with several parents over the weekend regarding this issue we are sending our kids to school fearing the worst and hoping for the best, and kids are feeling threatened and intimidated by one student.
We have done our part in your mission statement, my daughter is class president, on the basketball team, an honor roll student, my son has been princple's pride ever since starting Legacy. My kids are highly motivated, responsible students and at this time I am calling for Legacy to recommit to a safe learning environment taught by caring, knowledgeable and highly effective educators.
I am requesting district leaders meet with parents to answer our questions regarding safety protocol and accountability. THIS MUST HAPPEN AND NOW.
The parents I have met with are ready to do whatever it takes, to ensure the safest possible learning environment for our children. ARE
