Lebanon Tattoo Culture

Today, Young people in Lebanon are starting to get tattoos, which can harm their future and their relationships. First of all, there are a lot of young people with easily viewable tattoos that are looking for a job. However, they will be disappointed to realize that some employers would not hire them because of the tattoo. Second of all, some young people get tattoos in secret. They do this because they know that their families and friends won't approve of getting a tattoo. Therefore, Tattoos are affecting many young people in a bad way. I have been living in Lebanon for a long time and I have been seeing a lot of people of my age with tattoos that fully cover their arms. Nevertheless, they don't know that those tattoos can affect their family relationships. To illustrate, My cousin, who was around 20 years old at the time, decided to get a tattoo in secret and hide it from his family. He decided to put one on his back because he thought none of his family members would find it. Nonetheless, they did find him with the tattoo eventually. Furthermore, his parents became very angry of him and decided to punish him. Even though that happened long ago, his family is still very upset that he got the tattoo and his parents paid an abundance amount of money to get rid of his tattoo by laser. Consequently, Tattoos can affect relationships for the worse. Getting a tattoo at such a young age can affect many things. First off, Tattoos can limit what jobs you can take. This can affect your future and you might never land your dream job. Second off, tattoos can affect relationships. If the family doesn't approve on getting tattoos, then the tattoo can make your family angry at you for having one. In conclusion, people should not get tattoos at a young age because it will affect their future jobs and relationships in a terrible
