According to an article by Leavitt, and Sluss, (2015), lying is one of the ethical issues prevalent in the workplace. For human beings, differentiating between rights from wrong is usually easy. However, some situations in life are never clear on what to choose. At times one is forced to choose from two bad choices or uncertain situations. Such a case is referred to as an ethical dilemma. The ethical dilemma is a situation that people face from day to day life experiences. Most people, when faced with a situation that dictates choosing from two unpleasant choices, make decisions based on the side that would favor them. On the event of an ethical dilemma, people are encouraged way both situated in consideration of both cosmic and universal logistics.

One is an argument to support the lie, and the other against it. To support the lie, one would argue that it is true that several jobs are requiring the soft skills, which one is fully qualified. However, there is a huge gap in employment span, which makes it very difficult for one to secure a job. This subjects a person to lose a job, which could be the least expected outcome especially if one qualification fit on the job perfectly. If one fails to secure the employment, one would have a financial burden, which might have a negative impact on the standard of living (Best, 2017). The whole process may have a negative impact on raising children, making life with defendants such as parents difficult. This could result in health issues such as depression. Hence, telling a lie about her bosses would save her from all these possible issues.
For one against the lie, it could be unfair for the applicant who honestly applies for the job. At a critical perspective, there could be someone who might need the job more than her, though that should not be a reason to quit. It could also be possible that it she is not be qualified as she thinks. She should consult other people get a clear solution on why she fails in acquiring jobs rather than cheating on it. This way, she could get a solution to secure a better job in the future which could be more important than then. She could alternatively shift to a career that is more likely to have
