The autocratic leadership style stands effective in these situation, as it retains the strengths of being action oriented, policy and procedural focused, competitive, and focused on short term goals (Iqbal et al., 2015). On the other hand, the autocratic leadership style retains quite a few weaknesses, including unrealistic demands, excessive discipline, independent decision making, and not valuing team input (Iqbal et al., 2015).
